There is one part of getting ready to work that we all hate. It’s the part where we go through our wardrobe over and over again trying to figure out what to wear and how well certain items pair together. It takes up a large chunk of your time in the morning that can otherwise be used for getting meals prepared, helping family members and kids get ready and also in some cases may be even getting that extra fifteen to thirty minutes of sleep. But what if you could work out a way where you really do not need to spend so much time each day planning your outfit? It would make your hectic morning more bearable, wouldn’t it? Here are some tips that might help you out.
Plan Your Outfits for the Week
One of the best ways to reduce the time that you spend every morning trying to figure out what you would like to wear, undoubtedly, would be to plan ahead. Basically, if you are off work during the weekend (which most offices consider holidays) get your clothes laundered. Once this has been done, look at the outfits that you will need for the upcoming week starting on Monday and all the way to Friday. Once you have planned out all your outfits, you can press all your clothes and keep them in neatly folded piles where all you need to do is simply put on the outfit that you planned for that day. Try doing this for just one week and you will see how much stress it takes away from you and how much time you can actually save.
Place Your Outfits in the Wardrobe in Rotational Order
This can be a bit tricky but once you do it a couple of times and get the hang of it, it can really help you out and also will have some advantages. For example, if you bought a few blue shirts online, and you want to make sure that you do not keep wearing them too close together, the rotational method can really be of help. Basically all you need to do is keep placing the clothing that you wore last, at the bottom. This way, by the time you reach them again, you would have worn other outfits for at least a couple of weeks in between and you will not have to worry about repeating the same dress twice in a week.
Pair Up Outfits with Accessories In Advance
One last way in which you can really make the process of getting ready to work effectively would be to plan out all the accessories that will complete the look. What you need to think about are things like the handbag that you will carry, the shoes for the outfit and any accessories like a necklace, a bracelet or the likes. Always keep in mind that you are going to work s your accessorizing needs to be minimal and professional and more often than not, a good pair of heels with great handbag is all that you really need.
